Any opinions about Tricare for Life

Soon I will go to Tricare for Life at 65 and will have Medicare A&B. My understanding is that this combo will generally take care of my medical needs. I rarely take medications. Is it advisable to (or necessary) to have Part D as well?

I read a little about TriCare for Life and Medicare part D. I found the following information helpful:

You stated that you rarely take medications. My understanding is that part D is very helpful when trying to cover prescription drugs especially when there is not a generic available. Really I think what this comes down to is what is cost effective for you. What do you think will meet your needs now and in the future.
